Job Description
Quantity Surveyor Ridgeway & Co are working with a respected main contractor who are looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and well-established contractor delivering a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors throughout London. As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial delivery of projects, from early-stage procurement through to final account. Key Responsibilities: * Manage project costs and ensure value for money across all stages * Oversee procurement of subcontractors and materials * Prepare and negotiate tenders, variations, and final accounts * Conduct cost reporting and forecasting in line with project progress * Work closely with site and project teams to ensure budgetary control Requirements: * Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry * Strong understanding of cost control and commercial management on build projects * Background in residential and/or commercial sectors * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred Role Details: * Position: Quantity Surveyor * Type: Permanent * Location: London * Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum This is a brilliant opportunity for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join a supportive team within a contractor known for quality delivery and long-term career progression.
