Working Foreman - Small Works Department Location: Colchester, Essex Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Package (incl. Company Vehicle) Employment Type: Permanent Recruiter: Clearfield Recruitment Client: High-end Residential Contractor Clearfield Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a longstanding client who are looking to add a Working Foreman to their Small Works Department on a permanent basis. Our client specialises in high-end, bespoke residential builds, working closely with private clients to deliver projects of exceptional quality and finish. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys being on the tools while managing small teams and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard. The Role: As a Working Foreman, you'll be responsible for: Overseeing and working on high-spec residential builds Coordinating trades on site and liaising directly with private clients Ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to a high standard Supporting the delivery of bespoke elements of construction Reporting progress to senior management and maintaining quality control Requirements: Proven background in residential construction, ideally with experience in high-end or bespoke projects Trade background in carpentry or bricklaying is highly desirable SMSTS Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong eye for detail and a pride in delivering top-quality work Full UK driving licence Package: Competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) Company vehicle Negotiable benefits package This is a great opportunity to join a reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
