Job Description
Office Administrator Plymouth (Apply online only) plus package Permanent full time role A reputable engineering client is looking to work a Office Administrator for their Plymouth office. The company This full-time role will consist of providing reactive and proactive administrative support as required to a team of Contracts Managers and Engineers. This requires excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, time management, polite telephone manner and problem-solving skills. Ideally if you have worked within the Construction and Engineering sector this will be advantageous. The role: - Working closely with contract managers to produce a variety of documents such as programmes, subcontract orders, site health and safety documentation etc. Assistance in the preparation of presentation documents, qualitative and tender submission documentation for issuing to clients and follow-up correspondence. Ensuring document control procedures are being maintained and managed, including downloading/uploading documentation and drawings from digital platforms. Updating internal and external systems regularly to keep information accurate and current, archiving relevant superseded information securely. Producing Operation and Maintenance manuals for projects nearing completion, collating relevant certificates, drawings, and any other required information. Processing Electrical Test sheets using digital software. Day to day office administration duties, including booking travel and accommodation when required, booking training courses, answering telephone calls, printing, laminating, organising, and filing paperwork. We are looking for:- Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Personable, confident, and proactive. Excellent written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, Outlook. Presentable with a good work ethic. Ability to work in a fast pace ever changing administrative environment, working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Non-essential but desirable: Ability to produce programmes using Microsoft Projects/ PowerProject (training can be provided). Valid UK Driving Licence.
