Social Value Bid Evaluator We’re hiring to expand our award-winning Procurement Support Team as demand for our mission-led work grows across the UK. Are you experienced in evaluating public sector bids and passionate about delivering measurable impact? At Social Value Portal, we’re helping public, private and voluntary sector partners deliver over £100bn in social value-improving lives, places and the planet. As a Social Value Bid Evaluator, you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding social value into procurement by assessing tenders through our evidence-led TOM System ™ Framework. You’ll advise, guide, and collaborate with clients to ensure social value is understood, embedded, and evaluated with rigour. You’ll also support internal teams and contribute to improving how Social Value is delivered across the UK—and beyond. The Role: · Evaluate Social Value content in public sector bids using our TOM System ™ Framework · Support and train clients embedding Social Value into their tenders · Provide expert evaluation insight, training and internal moderation · Work cross-functionally to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement What You’ll Bring: · 2+ years of public sector procurement or commissioning experience (essential) · Proven experience in evaluating tenders across procurement routes (essential) · Sound knowledge of UK procurement regulations (essential) · Excellent communication, analytical and structured reporting skills · Comfortable working with data and digital tools, including MS Office Desirable: · Experience with Salesforce or procurement platforms like ProContract · CIPS qualification or working towards Why Join Us?
