Job Description

The Executive Commercial Operations team will provide essential coordination and administrative support to the Commercial team. Working closely with Sector Heads, Business Development teams, and internal departments, this role will assist in preparing client proposals, managing commercial documentation, supporting pricing updates, and maintaining CRM and reporting tools. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Mon -Fri normal hours Location London Salary Circa £40k Key Duties: Commercial Coordination & Administrative Support * Support the preparation of client presentations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions under the direction of the Sales and Commercial teams. * Maintain up-to-date templates and assist in compiling technical and commercial documentation. * Coordinate internal reviews and approvals for proposals and documents. Pricing Support * Assist in updating and maintaining pricing tools and spreadsheets. Ensure accurate entry of pricing information and support review processes for new quotes * Track submitted pricing and support basic margin checks as required. Data Entry & CRM Maintenance * Keep CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) up to date with accurate opportunity, account, and contact information. * Monitor pipeline data and assist with generating basic activity reports. Reporting Support * Help compile weekly/monthly reports on commercial activity, such as sales performance summaries, bid tracking, and pipeline status. * Coordinate inputs for sales forecasting and planning templates. Market & Client Research * Conduct basic desk research on prospective clients, competitors, and market trends. * Summarise findings to support commercial planning or proposal positioning. Team & Process Support * Schedule internal meetings, coordinate deadlines, and track follow-ups for commercial projects. * Support the onboarding of new clients/vendors by helping collate documents and internal sign-offs. * Provide general administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer and wider Commercial team. Key Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. * 1–3 years in a support role within a commercial, sales, or operational environment (logistics industry preferred). * Strong organisational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple priorities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage. * Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional, proactive, and a strong team player with a can-do attitude Exposure to tender coordination, pricing administration, or commercial documentation is a plus
